Monaco and the Order of Malta: A Bridge of Solidarity for Bethlehem
From the heart of the Mediterranean, the Principality of Monaco launches a solidarity initiative that blends humanitarian diplomacy and international cooperation to bring hope to newborns in Bethlehem. The Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta in Monaco, in collaboration with the Rotary Clubs of Monaco, San Marino, Milano Morimondo Abbazia, Dubai (District 2452), and Bethlehem, has launched a project focused on neonatal health. The goal? To donate two state-of-the-art neonatal incubators, worth €45,000, to the Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem, managed by the Order of Malta.

National Day of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta
On Wednesday, 25th June 2025, the Yacht Club de Monaco hosted the celebration of the National Day of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, bringing together around one hundred distinguished guests in an atmosphere of friendship and solemnity. The event renewed and strengthened the deep ties between the Principality of Monaco and the Order of Malta, despite the absence of an official delegation from the Palace, which was engaged in Japan for the EXPO.

Grand Master Fra’ John T. Dunlap on Official Visit to the Principality of Monaco
Grand Master Fra’ John T. Dunlap was on an official visit to Monaco, where he received the sad news of the passing of the Holy Father. On Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 April, he met with Prince Albert II. At the core of the dialogue with Monégasque authorities was the sharing of an international vision based on multilateral cooperation, humanitarian diplomacy, and the protection of the most vulnerable, particularly through a joint commitment to international humanitarian law and triangular cooperation in Africa and the Middle East.

OFFICIAL VISIT OF THE GRAND MASTER OF THE SOVEREIGN ORDER OF MALTA TO THE PRIBCIPALITY OF MONACO
On 21 and 22 April 2025, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco will welcome Fra’ John Dunlap, Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of Malta, for an official visit to the Principality of Monaco. The delegation, led by the Grand Master, will include H.E. the Grand Chancellor Riccardo Paternò di Montecupo (Minister of Foreign Affairs and Interior), Ms Fabiana Giovannoni, Chief of Staff to the Grand Master, H.E. Make a WISH for Education
"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." Nelson Mandela Six months ago, the Embassy of the Order of Malta in the Principality of Monaco received a proposal from the Académie Princesse Grace, fully aligned with the "Make a WISH" project. The Academy’s Director, Luca Masala, together with the Treasurer of La Fondation Princesse Grace, Henri Riey, shared with us the story of Pedro (a fictional name), a 17 year old South American boy, requesting our support within the framework of the "Make a WISH for Education" initiative.
