Monaco, Decembre 18
Less than a month after the Charity Dinner organized in Milan on 27th November by the Embassy of the Sovereign Order of Malta in the Principality of Monaco, we are pleased to share with you an extraordinary result that celebrates the generosity and solidarity of our donors and sponsors of this initiative.
It is thanks to their generous support and contribution that we were able to raise the sum of 120.053 euros. An even more significant result if we consider that all the organisational costs of the evening were entirely covered by the sponsors, which allows to dedicate every euro collected to the project “HOLY LAND EMERGENCY”.
This project – of the Sovereign Order of Malta under the Patronage of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem – will offer concrete and immediate help to those who need it most: the transfer made today – which you can see attached – is the first step in this extraordinary mission.
But that’s not all! More funds will be added soon, including the proceeds from the auction held during the evening. These additional contributions will be destined, in January, to support the “Make a WISH- Un Hiver au chaud” project in Lebanon and the Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem, expanding the impact of the solidarity initiatives promoted.
Our relief agency, Malteser International, is the trusted partner and it will take care of the logistics and delivery of aid to the Holy Land. The project will povide the distribution of food parcels and first aid medical kits directly to the most vulnerable people. This will be accomplished with a deeply human approach: the aid will be delivered person by person by Father Gabriel, parish priest of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Gaza.
Your generosity is the real protagonist of this success! We invite you to continue to walk with us to expand the reach of these initiatives. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference and brings the world closer to greater hope. The Embassy is always available to provide you with information and welcome new donations.
Thank you very much for your continued support! Together we can continue to change lives, bringing help, warmth and hope where it is most needed.
