Over 300 delegates from 31 countries took part in the 19th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, held at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome.

At the conclusion of the second day of discussions, it was announced that the PAM Awards 2025 will be awarded, on a date to be determined, to H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
This prestigious recognition has been granted to the Sovereign Prince of Monaco, upon the proposal of the Sovereign Order of Malta, with the title of “Champion of Peace and Humanitarian Assistance”, in honor of his unwavering commitment and the Principality’s continuous support for humanitarian initiatives worldwide and for the Order of Malta’s activities in Lebanon.
Among the delegates who warmly applauded the awarding of this important honor were the Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco to Italy, H.E. Mrs. Anne Eastwood, Hon. Marie-Noëlle Gibelli from the National Council of Monaco, and the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to the Principality of Monaco, H.E. Alberto di Luca.
